STULZ-ATS Recognized for Outstanding International Business Leadership

STULZ-ATS was awarded the Maryland International Business Leadership Award by the Baltimore based, World Trade Center, Inc. (WTCI). Celebrating the spirit of global ambition and excellence in international leadership, WTCI presents the Maryland International Leadership Awards annually to leaders within the state who exemplify entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and global reach.

Mr. Oliver Stulz, STULZ-ATS President, accepted the award on March 10 at the annual awards banquet and networking event, held this year in Baltimore at the Jim Rouse Visionary Center – American Visionary Arts Museum. Of Maryland’s 150,000 firms, STULZ-ATS was one of seven selected to receive the honor. The other firms awarded were Marlin Steel Wire Products, Firaxis, Ports America Chesapeake, United Therapeutics, Qiagen, and DARCARS. In addition, Governor Martin O’Malley was on hand to present the Governor’s Award to an individual with decades of international leadership from Maryland. This year the award went Steve Phillips, CEO of Phillips Foods, one of the largest seafood processors in the United States.

“I am pleased to accept this award on STULZ-ATS’s behalf,” remarked Stulz, “the world-wide growth in our industry has led to increased facility and manpower requirements in our Maryland facility. This growth would not be possible without strong leadership in all areas of the company.”

The WTCI is a non-profit organization that was established in 1989 in Baltimore, Maryland. More than 2,500 Maryland firms benefit from WTCI's global network and international business programs. WTCI is a member of the World Trade Center Association, along with nearly 300 fellow World Trade Centers operating in major business cities around the world.
